EXAMPLE 6: Rebuilt Metering Pump
This Rexroth A2VK positive displacement pump would not generate the correct chemical output and pressure for manufacturing polyurethane foam.
What we did:
- Disassembled, cleaned and inspected the metering pump.
- Replaced the seals, O-rings, gaskets, bushings, bearings, control plate, pressure cylinder and pistons with new Rexroth pump parts.
- Applied a new finish coat.
- Reassembled the metering pump.
- Tested the rebuilt axial piston pump with a non-reactive fluid to ensure conformance with Rexroth flow and pressure specifications.
